Where Have We Been????

    Ok, so I'm really, really, really bad about keeping up with posts on this blog. Life has so much going on and I truly forget to snap pictures of it. We have been doing the usual....schoolwork, chores, enjoying this wonderful weather.

    Over the weekend, we visited family for Easter. The kids had lots of fun with their cousins.



 

   

 We also went skating yesterday, that was FUN!!! I should have taken pictures...

Play Dough Fun

I decided to try my hand at making homemade play dough earlier this week. The kids and I had so much fun!!!
Recipe at the bottom.


 



I found this recipe at The Imagination Tree . There are plenty to choose from. This is the one we chose:
   1/2 cup of salt
   2 cups plain flour
   2 tbsp oil
   2 tbsp cream of tartar
   1.5 to 2 cups boiling water
   few drops of glycerin (optional)
   food coloring and/or flavoring of your choice

Mix all ingredients in bowl and knead until smooth. Have fun!

Sausage & Pancake Muffins

I saw these on Pinterest and thought I'd give them a try ....what's not to love : pancakes and sausage combined into a kid friendly package!!

Warmer Weather!!!

   It has been getting warmer around here lately and while I can't say that I'm really excited for a heat wave...the kids sure are.



Still have alot of crazy things going on around here....hoping they settle down soon.

I just haven't felt like posting for a while now.....things are just busy around here...nothing seems to be going right and it just seems like it will never end. There has to be a light at the end of the tunnel.
